Super fun place for Japanese skewers and more. Staff are attentive and friendly. We didn’t have a reservation and were seated at the bar which was great. We saw how they grilled the food items. They happened to be celebrating their 20th anniversary these few days and were giving out a present to each customer. We won’t a Japanese lemonade sofa and a Japanese cracker snack.
I loved how they had super unique skewers and the variety was unbelievable. It was a super fun dining experience choosing all the different ones to try and I also found their sashimi to be great quality as well. Would definitely recommend and I would absolutely come here again.
Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and amazing food—it's no wonder this place is so popular. If you're unsure what to order, I highly recommend trying their two signature sets; you won’t regret it. Their hand rolls and oden soup were also excellent. Be sure to make a reservation in advance, as this place is always busy.
Such a wonderful experience. I would definitely go back there again. Food was just great, service was awesome and atmosphere was very joyful. I loved everything about the place. Would highly recommend it.
Quality ingredients and great variety on skewers! Polite and friendly service as well. This is an izakaya style Japanese eatery meaning more of a drinking place with tapas. If you are planning for a meal, ordering carbs/ veggies along with the skewers is recommended. Don’t try to get full with just skewers. Otherwise your dining experience will be skewed and expensive.
I visited this yakitori restaurant with my wife while on vacation to Vancouver. I had recently visited Japan on a business trip. This restaurant made me feel like I was in Japan again. The atmosphere, service, and food quality were all excellent! We ordered several meat skewers as well as beer, a mixed drink, and Japanese whisky. We had a super enjoyable lunch and will definitely stop by again if we are back in Vancouver. Thanks so much to the wonderful staff!
I recently visited a Korean barbecue restaurant for the first time and had an amazing experience. The food was incredibly delicious, especially the various beef dishes and shrimp that we ordered. Dont forget to order rice as well. The server recommended a fantastic ice cream dessert that completely surprised me with its flavor. Although the prices were on the higher side, I believe it was worth it for the exceptional taste. The restaurant was run by a small staff of seven, and I commend them for their hard work. Overall, I had an awesome experience and highly recommend this place.
The overall experience was really nice! The staff was lovely which was our first impression and why we came in! What a surprise when all the food came in! All of it really delicate, flavourful, textures spot on! An incredible experience! I highly recommend and cannot wait to be back! (Sorry for the lack of pictures... I just got too excited and didn’t picture it all!)
